Medications Storage

Generally, diabetic medications can be divided into oral and injection. All oral medications should be stored in room temperature. The medications should not be exposed to direct sunlight. Other than that, precautionary measures such as keep out of reach of children should be practiced at all the times.

Specifically, some diabetic patients will be given insulin therapy. It is one type of injection medication. Normally, patients will be instructed by the healthcare provider to inject the medication subcutaneously.
